When I went to bed last night, two people had been killed, but the killer was still on the loose. This morning there are thirty two people dead in the worst mass shooting in US history. It's been 8 years since the attacks at Columbine that left the country in shock and which lead to nearly a dozen copycat attacks. I hope the same doesn't occur here. What would possibly drive someone to kill two people and then continue on to lock a building and kill everyone in that building. I hope that they are able to find some sort of reasoning behind it. If there even is one.
Thoughts and prayers go out to friends and families of the victims.
It's a mad mad world we live in.

Last night, I thought "Thank God it wasn't Northeastern or Loyola" and then, immediately, thought those victims were SOMEBODY'S "Shawn" or "Mark-O" and sent every thought I have to the families of those lost yesterday to the madness.
I firmly believe that, with people like you in it, that the mad, mad world has hope....
I love you SO SO much and am thankful every day for your presence in my life....I tell you so today honor of those that can't....love to all
How small the world is... One of the 32 killed at Virginia Tech was a girl from our area named Caitlin..there but by the grace of God go I....Blessed Mother pray for us....
I am counting my blessings right now that all of my children are safe. But as Tah said, they are someone's daughter, son , niece, sister, etc. The stories are all making me sad. Once again, my own mountains seem small compared to those families. Love to all and Peace to the world.
it's on incidents such as these when even the coldest hearts start to melt- even if it is a little bit...thsi particlura one has created shock around the world bigger than any earthquake could have and the worst thing is that ppl. like me can only sit there feeling sorry and upset- useless...[but that won't stop me]
